Citadelle Visit

LA CITADELLE - It is said that this magnificent fortress is the eighth wonder of the world. It was designed and built by King Henri Christophe, located atop a hill 3,000 feet high; This place was declared World Heritage by UNESCO. Many tourists visit. Our multilingual guide, accompany us to tell the story of the Fortress has been recently renovated. There are spectacular views from all fields that surround this place. Access to the Fortress must be made partially in vehicle and then on foot or mule. Immediately after this visit a delicious lunch in Haitian style will be waiting for us in a typical restaurant located in a cultural center called Lakou Lakay. At the end a little taste of the local folklore. After a short break, continue to the border and then fill formalities, we will continue to Santo Domingo, born in our memories, the beautiful places in the mythical travels Haiti Milot & La Citadelle!

Sans Souci / Milot Palace

Taking as model the palace in Potsdam Frederick of Prussia, will visit the ruins of this beautiful palace. It was designed and built by King Henri Christophe. The Palace reflects its original splendor. They have the opportunity to make beautiful pictures while our guide tells us some gossip site's history and other rumors of the time. There is a small and beautiful handicrafts market where you can buy authentic pieces of Haitian art.

Day 1
Pick up at the border at 3pm. Have dinner at the restaurant of the hotel Le Plaza

Day 2
At 7:45am check out at Le Plaza. Meet your guide at 8am for the City Tour in Port-au-Prince (PAP).

Champ de Mars:
-The Heroes’ square-An account of the revolution
-Your visit will include seeing the site of the Palace, the Cathedral and St. Trinity Church and explaining the loss to the Haitian people
-Seeing the old Gingerbread houses

At 9:30am, go to Boutillier where you can admire the view of PAP and the bay, where also you’ll have lunch (lunch price is not included).

At 12pm, leave the place to go Sans Souci bus station. This bus will leave at 2pm to go to Cap Haitian. There, a Chauffeur of Voyages Lumiere will take you to Roi Christophe hotel for the night. He will have a yellow sign with the name of our company written on it.

Day 3
Leave the hotel at 7:30am. Meet the guide and chauffeur for the Cap City tour and then for the tours of the Citadelle La Ferriere and Sans Souci Palace. Afterwards, have lunch at Lakou Lakay, a community restaurant.

At 2pm leave the hotel to go to the border, Dajabon going back to Dominican Republic.
